YOUrALPS - Integrating young people's concepts, educators' teaching principles and stakeholders educational tasks for a trans-formation of education and society towards sustainability in the Alps

The EU Alpine Space project YOUrALPS enables the alpine youth to acquire the knowledge and develop the skills they want and need to better shape their personal and the Alp's future. For a first time in history of Environmental Education and Education for Sustainable development, a transalpine network of stakeholders is being created in order to connect measures and activities of formal, non-formal and informal education in the Alps. First results of qualitative and quantitative data collection as well as recommendations for the development of an Alpine School Model will be presented.
