90-year history of observations of natural processes in the Stolby Reserve (Siberia): experience, results, prospects

The Stolby Reserve (zapovednik) is one of the oldest reserves in Russia, it represents the mountain-taiga ecosystems of the Eastern Sayans formed at the junction of several climatic, botanical, soils and vegetation zones, which determines its diversity of forest conditions and biodiversity. The reserve has unique traditions of long-term observations of the climate, the dynamics of abundance of many animal species, phenological observations and anthropogenic load monitoring.
