Interactive web services for landslide and habitat monitoring

Elisabeth Weinke, University of Salzburg (AT)

In this study we introduce a prototype of an interactive web service for semi-automatic landslide analysis. The web service consists of four subservices: (1) a mapping service, (2) a monitoring service to monitor changes, (3) a validation service to evaluate landslide delineations from different sources and (4) an infrastructure service to identify landslide-affected infrastructure. In addition, we adapt the concept of the existing solution for habitat monitoring. With the development of interactive web services we aim to support the efficient management of the environment in protected areas.
