Nationalparks Austria is the umbrella organisation for all national parks in Austria. Nationalparks Austria brings the unifying elements, the common values, that which is obvious and yet nevertheless exceptional under one roof. All Austrian national parks offer a genuine nature experience and at the same time assume responsibility for our authentic natural heritage. This involves professional and innovative nature conservation, experience-based environmental education and practical research.
The umbrella organisation Nationalparks Austria saw the light of day thanks to a process including the involvement of the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Engery, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) and experts from Austrian national parks.
We can only preserve and pass on our natural heritage through cooperative nature conservation at all levels.
